Dissemination event for project’s achievements to date and the Observatory

On May 15, 2025, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Dobrich, as an official partner of the international MOSAIC project, organized a dissemination event to present the project’s achievements to date, the Observatory www.craftingthefuture.eu  and to highlight the opportunities it offers for the development of the arts and crafts sector.

The event was attended by representatives from a national network (1), schools, universities, and VET centres (6), NGOs (2), the crafts and arts sector (6), government institutions (4), trade unions (2), and a company – event organiser (1).

The attendees actively participated in the discussions and showed strong interest in the opportunities offered by the Crafting the Future platform.

At the Dobrich event, participants were introduced to key project outcomes, including:

  • An analysis of skill gaps in the arts and crafts sector;
  • Guidelines for digital learning, social inclusion, and environmental education;
  • Proposals for advancing research and development in vocational education;
  • Concepts for innovative social and economic business models to support young entrepreneurs.

A central highlight of the event was the presentation of the online Observatory Crafting the Future – dwww.craftingthefuture.eu – developed as a core outcome of the project. This platform provides a comprehensive knowledge base, tools, and resources for professionals, trainers, students, business associations, institutions, and other stakeholders in the arts and crafts ecosystem.

The platform is organized into three main tools:

  • Business Hub – A space for networking and sharing experiences, featuring resources for business development, best practices, a LinkedIn ambassador group, a training catalogue, and an events calendar.
  • Training Tool – Mosaic’s online learning modules offer a dedicated space for teachers and learners to dive into the world of Arts and Crafts. Each module provides valuable insights, skills, and resources designed to enrich learning experiences.
  • Scientific Hub – It features an Expert Journal which is a collaborative space for exploring the Arts and Crafts. It offers to researchers, students, and professionals to share insights through diverse content, fostering dialogue and celebrating craftsmanship.
