01| ENGAGE
In the first phase, the aim is to involve the students in the challenge, to give them the opportunity to get to know each other and to define together the object they want to produce. In addition to ice-breaking sessions, we plan to propose experiential activities that will allow them to get to know the possibilities offered by our workshops. Specifically, in our spaces they will be able to:
● use a cutting plotter
● print stickers
● use a plotter to print on fabric or other materials
● print T-shirts
● print with silk-screen printing (serigraphy)
● use a digital printer
We would like to offer some short workshops where they can experiment with more creative manual printing techniques (pad printing or similar).
02 | ANALIZE
In the second phase, there will be a series of cultural visits which, as well as being an opportunity to get to know the area, can be an inspiration for the style of the object to be designed. In particular, we would like to visit:
● MART ( https://www.mart.tn.it/) and Casa Depero (https://www.mart.tn.it/visita-casa-depero) (10 minutes by train from Trento) Trentino is home to one of Italy’s leading museums of modern and contemporary art: the Mart in Rovereto. Mart preserves, protects and promotes a corpus of around 20,000 works of art spanning almost two hundred years of history, from the 19th century to the present day, with particular attention to the history of art in Italy. Casa d’Arte Futurista Depero is the only museum founded by a Futurist – Depero himself, in 1957 – as an irreverent, visionary project: innovation, irony, and the breaking down of all hierarchies in the arts. Depero, a true pioneer of contemporary design, personally designed every detail: the mosaics, the furniture, the painted panels. The building is a ten-minute walk from the Mart, in the elegant historic centre of medieval Rovereto.
● Dolomites mountain area to discover the territory as a source of inspiration (optional on saturday) In addition, during this second period, the students will be supported by a number of tutors with different skills (graphic designers, packaging designers, artists, etc.). These tutors will take it in turns to help the groups develop their project ideas.
03 | ACT
In the final phase, the students will have to realise their projects, develop a promotional campaign and organise their presentations for the final event. Again, the students will alternate moments of short theoretical lectures (presentation design, marketing and promotion) with operational moments in the workshop. The aim of this final phase is to develop communication and organisational skills that can be used to promote themselves and their professionalism.
04 | FINAL PRESENTATION
Finally, a final event will be organised where the students will present their work to the teachers and pupils of the whole school. We will invite representatives of the local authorities and other organizations that work with us to this event. Each group will have a small stand where they will display their products. A small committee of teachers from the institute and some freelancers from the sector will evaluate the work and give feedback to the groups.

Trento, Italy 🇮🇹

Visiting Trento is not only an opportunity to discover a region rich in natural beauty and cultural heritage, but also a source of inspiration and creativity, as demonstrated by the experiential program offered to students as part of the mobility initiative. The aim is to engage participants in a journey that combines design, culture, craftsmanship, and local exploration.

During the project, students will have the chance to learn and experiment with creative techniques in the workshops of Artigianelli of Trento—such as screen printing, textile printing, and the use of plotters and digital printers—drawing inspiration from the unique environment in which the school is located.

Trento is the ideal place for an educational and creative experience that blends art, nature, history, and innovation. The city thus becomes an open-air learning space, capable of inspiring young people and opening them up to new perspectives.
