Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna is the regional association of the Chambers of Commerce of Emilia- Romagna, gathering 7 local chambers in one of the most developed and active EU regions. It is Member of Eurochambers, partner in the SIMPLER Consortium of EEN network (www.simplernet.eu), it also operates as a regional economy and labour observatory (market analysis, research and studies,
forecasts, databank, etc.).

The 7 Chambers of commerce represented by Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna gather around 400.000 companies.
Among the various activities carrier out by Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna, it should be underlined the coordination of the regional chambers of commerce dual-training systems’ — learning and working and job orientations programmes for students, in cooperation with the Regional School Office.

Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna is also member of the Emilia-Romagna Regional Craftsmanship Commission. The Commission, provided by art. 5 of the regional law 09 February 2010, n. 1 of Emilia-Romagna (rules for the protection, promotion, development and enhancement of craft enterprises), is the body for the protection and representation of crafts sector and it is based in the Emilia-Romagna Regional Government. Due to its role in learning and working and job orientations programmes for young people as well as for craft companies related matters, Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna can add the MOSAIC Project its expertise in studying vocational training companies needs, collecting and analysing data from companies through digital surveys and an observatory on the demands from them (Excelsior database), sharing best practices with the partners’ project concerning dual training systems and craft sector, contributing to design training programmes, evaluating trends relating to craft companies, disseminating the project’s results.

Guido Caselli

Manager

Deputy Secretery-General and Chief Economist of Emilia-Romagna Economic research department. As an economist he has been carrying out various surveys, reports, and analyses on the Emilia-Romagna economy. He is responsible for the economic Observatories managed by the Emilia-Romagna Regional Government and Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna. He published various articles on economic matters in the economic specialised press, such as “Il sole 24 ore”, as well as in the trade-organisations newspapers; he is the author of economic dossier contained in the yearly Report of Emilia-Romagna Economy.

He has contributed to the fine-tuning of “Excelsior” national survey on the need for qualified workers, carried out by the Chambers of commerce in cooperation with the Italian Ministry of Labour. He has cooperated in the framework of “Supporting Enterprises Towards APPrenticeship” Erasmus +KA3 project.

Laura Bertella

Manager

She has been working for Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna since 2006. She is the head of Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna companies development department, Project management, Network Advisor, expert in internationalization, digitalization, sustainability and EU funding. She has been involved also in various EU projects funded by Eu programmes (CIP, COSME, ERASMUS, ISEC, HORIZON 2020). She is in Enterprise Europe Network since 2008

Stefano Lenzi

Researcher/ manager

He has been working for Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna since 1994. He has been involved in EU funded projects since 1996 under various programmes (Interprise, Ibex, Euro Info Centres network, Esprit, V FP Programme for Research and Technological Development, e-ten, art. 6 ESF projects, Erasmus for young entrepreneurs, AL Invest, Erasmus +). He is presently involved in advising SMEs in the framework of Enterprise Europe Network – EEN. From 2003 to 2007 he has managed projects for the alternation between school and work, financed both by the Chambers of commerce and the Emilia-Romagna School regional Office. He is presently still involved in several EU projects and he is the head of Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna compliance and legal affairs department

Matteo Casadio

Researcher

He has been working for Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna since 1995. He is presently involved in coordinating Emilia-Romagna Chambers of commerce in their support activities for job orientation, entrepreneurial education and work-related learning programmes. He cooperated in the framework of “Supporting Enterprises Towards APPrenticeship” Erasmus + KA3 project. He is the head of Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna job orientation and general affairs department.

Matteo Beghelli

Researcher

Economist and project manager in the field of regional socio-economic studies; he has being working in Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna since 2005. As an economist, he has been carrying out applied research to overview the social and economic conditions of the Region (Emilia-Romagna), both over the short and the long run. He has been involved also in EU funded projects (EU mate project on Encouraging Mobility of Apprentices Throughout Europe), and he has cooperated in the framework of “Supporting Enterprises Towards APPrenticeship” Erasmus + KA3 project and in “Gastro Guide” Erasmus project . He is the responsible of Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna economic research department.
